1. Services
Direct Garage Door Services provides garage door repair, maintenance, installation, and related services across Australia. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Quotes
All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary depending on the actual work required, parts needed, and any unforeseen issues discovered during the service. We will always communicate any changes before proceeding with additional work.
3. Warranties
We provide warranties on both parts and labour:
- Parts: Manufacturer warranty applies (typically 12-24 months)
- Labour: 12-month warranty on workmanship
- Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or lack of maintenance
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences.
5. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee.
6. Liability
While we take every precaution to provide safe and reliable services, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to your property
- Damage caused by faulty products not supplied by us
- Issues arising from improper use of the garage door after service
- Consequential or indirect losses
7. Safety
Garage doors contain high-tension springs and heavy components that can cause serious injury. We strongly advise against DIY repairs on springs, cables, or other high-tension components. Always use a qualified technician for these repairs.
